A studio for contemporary kitchens, built under one roof

ARO Kitchens & Granite was founded on a simple observation: South African homeowners were being asked to choose between imported showroom kitchens at import prices, and local builds that never quite matched the picture. We believed there was a better way — a single studio that designs with a contemporary eye and builds with its own hands.

Today we design and manufacture bespoke kitchens, renovations and custom cabinetry for homes across the country. Our work spans two-tone family kitchens in walnut and ivory, handleless minimalist spaces, warm oak-and-travertine rooms and dark, dramatic cook's kitchens. What they share is precision joinery, honest materials and layouts drawn around the people who use them.

Being designer, manufacturer and installer means one point of contact from first sketch to final door handle — and no one to hide between when something needs to be right. We like it that way.
